Not So Fast My Friend

For All The Ones Who Shared Everything, EVERY Single Thing Except Our Undies.

Dear mister how are you? Its me
Don’t you remember, we used to sing and see
Where are you? Working? Climbing? The ladder or the tree?
But why have you grown up, so quickly, so early?

Or trying to grow up,and trying to flee
Cant we just play, or too kiddish to even glee?
Where is the running around for no reason?
Where is the blabbering and rambling and abuses for free?

Everything is so measured, calculated is every behaviour
Why not let it go, like always, let it be?
The ladder will be there now and tomorrow
Why not share a drink and give each other a hug we can’t borrow

I liked the fuck yous than the how are yous
Loved those kicks rather than the handshakes
The plastic cups than the sleek tall glasses
We used to be the ones, not the masses

I won’t change, will wait at the foot of the steps
If you fall, will be there with beer for the peps
Just kick some ass with me or mine, and laugh for no reason like in a test
Just get some time off from the cubicles, I’ll handle the rest
